Pascal's Culinary Journey

Pascal Besset's culinary story begins in the South of France, where passion for exceptional food runs deep. With formal training in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Paris, Pascal's talent flourished through an apprenticeship in Monte Carlo and 15 years of mentorship under Chef Cesar Merlino. His expertise has graced prestigious kitchens throughout Europe—including Monte Carlo, Corsica, and Paris—before bringing his talents to California at age 30. Pascal's career spans six five-star hotels across two continents, with three ranked among the world's Top 10, establishing him as a culinary visionary with roots in both European tradition and California innovation.

A Natural Evolution

Savory Farms represents the perfect next chapter in Pascal's dedication to exceptional food experiences. Building on the success of Maison F. Crayssac and Angel's Salumi and Truffles, founded in 2010 to bring artisanal charcuterie and truffle products to North County San Diego and Nationwide. This new gourmet market brings together his expertise in fine foods and appreciation for quality ingredients. Savory Farms isn't just a new business—it's the culmination of Pascal's journey from European kitchens to creating a comprehensive culinary destination where exceptional quality, authentic flavors, and approachable gourmet experiences come together under one roof.
